Bathroom Update

This is a small bathroom that was in need of an update. With the addition of ceramic tile, a custom built medicine cabinet, crown molding, a new vanity, and some furnishings this bathroom will continue to please for years to come

Basement Room Remodel

This room was left unfinished when the prior homeowners finished their basement. The owners wanted more usable space for storage and exercise equipment.

These are poplar chair-rail moldings that I installed at two local library locations. All of the wood was custom shaped, stained and finished.

This was a small handrail installed to make it a little easier for an aging resident to go up and down the stars safely. Little additions like this can go a long way toward making homes safer.

Deck Repair and Patio Door

This was a two-part job. The original patio door was rotting at the jambs and was in need of replacement. The deck was also in pretty rough shape and in need of some TLC.

This is an 18' x 20' large single car garage. You can see from the before photo that it was time for a replacement.

Shower Tile

The tile shower surround in this bathroom was starting to develop mold and collapse in areas. This is very common in homes where tile is put directly over any type of drywall. I installed a cement board underlayment and sealed with silicone so this problem should never return.

Finished Basement

This is a basement that had roughed in framing, plumbing, and electrical. Unfortunately there are no before photos but it was all bare studs and concrete. The homeowners were particularly excited to have a bathroom so they didn't have to go up and down stairs as frequently.

Garage Repair and Paint

This garage needed a lot of work. After replacing most of the trim, replacing siding, re-hanging gutters, re-building the awning, and giving it a quality paint job, the garage became something the homeowner could again be proud of.

Deck Stairs

The deck stairs at this home were rotting. The clients were also concerned about the safety of such a steep and long staircase for small children. Together we designed a better solution.

On this job the homeowner was looking for a little more clothes storage in their finished basement. Their was a section of wall that had become dead space that was perfect for a new closet.

Cedar Fence

This is a cedar fence we put in. We got lucky and caught a good sale on cedar that made the price reasonable when compared to pressure treated pickets. I always recommend cedar whenever possible, you get rid of a lot of nasty chemicals and the wood is more dimensionally stable.

Garage Organization and Repair

This garage was in need of some organization and repair. All of the ceiling drywall was replaced, the entire garage was re-painted, and shelving was installed to make better use of the storage space.

Shadowbox Fence

This is a shadowbox style fence that two homeowners split the cost of. It is a great style of fence to choose in this situation because both sides are aesthetically pleasing.

Kitchen Tile

This is a ceramic tile kitchen floor. The 18 x 18 tile is great for open kitchens like this, it gives you fewer distracting grout lines and saves money by having to set fewer tiles.

Privacy Fence

This is a short section of privacy fence. It is built entirely out of pressure-treated lumber.

These are two custom furniture pieces. An exterior cedar cabinet and an oak TV stand.

Vinyl Siding

This home had exposed wood clapboards and damaged window trim that the homeowner was tired of painting. We came in and installed vinyl siding directly over the clapboards and wrapped the trim in aluminum.
